Sales Talk

I dont exactly remember when, but it was during the time when we were still living up north in Valenzuela... so I'd say about 5 years ago. My wife and I were at these Tiangge stores and we were casually strolling and looking for some bargains when I saw a stall that was selling towels. And we needed to buy some for guests at the house so I looked at a couple of them, hoping to find some good ones.

Me: "OK sana to, kaya lang medyo masyadong manipis..."
Guy: "Hinde boss, kakapal din yan pag nabasa."
Me: "Eh gago ka pala eh..."

OK, maybe I didnt really say that last one out loud but I really think I should have.
